1066 Waxing for Men

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I VISIT?

It is recommended to come every 4-6 weeks and very important to NOT trim or use hair remover between visits. The more you wax, the thinner the hair grows back, and the softer the hair becomes.

REMEMBER, the hair grows in THREE stages, a bit like a flower budding, and it will take at least THREE visits before the hair length is all the same. So, after your first visit, you MAY find that the odd few hairs return in a couple of weeks, this is because they were just under the skin, when you first got waxed. DON’T lose faith, this happens to most guys, and once you are waxed on a regular basis, the hair growth will slow up and smooth skin will last a lot longer.

* Please arrive on time, parking is free and warrior square railway station is only a 5 minute walk away.
Also, a ” nice to do ” if can shower before hand that would be great too! However, if your having an intimate waxing i do supply freshen up wipes designed for a pre waxing.

WHAT TO WEAR

I want you to be as comfortable as possible and just be yourself, so loose clothing is probably better. Also, from time to time, some jasmine oil ( which is used after waxing), may rub off on your clothing, so it is not recommended to wear any designer suits!

HOW LONG SHOULD THE HAIR BE BEFORE A VISIT?

Ideally the hair should be a quarter of an inch, any shorter and the wax MAY not grip properly.

If on the other hand the hair is too long, don’t worry as I can trim this using clippers before we begin waxing.

DOES WAXING HURT?

I get waxed on a regular basis, and it is much less painful than going to the dentist!!

Hand on heart, it is more of a slight sting that lasts for seconds only, and well worth it when you look at the results!

Maximum results for minimum discomfort. BE BRAVE !!

AFTERCARE ADVICE

After all treatments I will give you a leaflet of the do’s and don’ts to do after a waxing. This will explain in detail how to look after yourself for the next 48 hours onwards.

This is VERY important, and involves many things from light exfoliating and moisturising after treatments, to NO excessive exercise, aftershaves, sunbeds etc.

After care is vital if you want to prevent in growing hairs OUCH!
